Using Web Directory

I study majoring in physics with sub-major nuclear particle physics. Also, I love writing as my hobby. I do my duty in collage and after school time, I do my hobby, writing about everything unique in my life. I write about my friends, my activities, my journey, also my own novel. Besides as a hobby, writing also gave me money from royalty. Why I really need money? Because I just want to be an independent girl who can get her own money without disturbing her primary duty as a student.

Sometimes, I feel difficult if I need to find out information for my homework or writing's topic. If I search from library, it is not easy because there are so many books which has same topic. The easy one is browsing from internet. If I need to find out some information, I use web directory, which is lists web sites by category and subcategory. It is different with search engine and does not display lists of web pages based on keywords. Example web directories which well known are Yahoo! directory and DMOZ.

There are many various features in listing that directories have, such us: free submission, reciprocal link, paid submission, no follow, featured listing, bid for position, and affiliate links. Think about how quickly new websites and pages are generated, and you'll realize that to not submit your website to web directories is a foolish decision that will reduce the chances of your page getting linked to and recognized. The submission process is the easiest ever: just browse until you found the best category for your website, then you'll see the "Suggest Link" button. Today submission of websites to web directories is considered as a common SEO (search engine optimization) technique to get vital back-links for the submitted web site.

Now, very easy to get information when I use web directory.
